I see my name and contact information is totally messed up where I have Norwegian characters at https://dev.eclipse.org/portal/myfoundation/portal/portal.php.

Sharon, I think that this may be screwed up in the Foundation database, which means that they're being entered incorrectly. 

Can you take a look at the database record to see if my assessment is correct? It seems that the committer Id/UNIX account name has some oddness. If yes, can you correct it?

I'll dig into how this is happening.

Hi Torkild and Wayne:

Yes, this is a known issue but I believe the problem may be on the DB side.  

Webmaster Matt can provide more details on where the problem may actually occur.

Webmaster and I work together to catch and adjust these issues at the provisioning stage.  

I'm copying Matt in order that he can adjust the DB record at this time.

Not quite right. The title now reads "Torkild Resheim" which should be "Torkild Ulvøy Resheim" or "Torkild U. Resheim" if the character problem cannot be fixed. The "Committer election"  box shows "Torkild Ulvøy Resheim" and the "Profile" shows "SÃ?¸r-TrÃ?¸ndelag" in the state/provice field. It should be "Sør-Trøndelag".

Yes I know I'm nitpicking ;-)

The portal is deprecated; we've moved most of the project-related functionality into the PMI already and are working on moving out the rest. User management will also be moved to the PMI.

We have no plans to do further work on the portal. Marking as WONTFIX.
