There is a NullPointerException when opening the HistogramView the second time and when no experiment had been selected before.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open LTTng perspective
2.Open HistogramView (if not already open)
3.Close HistogramView
4.Open HistogramView again

A missing check for a null pointer has been added by the patch.
