Plugin source code compatible with Eclipse 4

Hello,

This is the result plugin after transforming the first plugin with MoDisco.

The first one does not run with Eclipse 4.
The second one does.

Regards.

Thank you for your bug report, Stephane. Please accept our apologies for not responding to your bug earlier as we have been in the middle of reworking the menus framework for the compatibility layer.

I have tried your attachment from comment 0 and was able to see the 'New Submenu' entry in the 'Project Explorer' for file selections.

Could you please try the plug-in with the I20101202-0915 build? Thank you for your time.

Hello.

My previous comment has disappeared.

So, thank you for your feed back.
I think you haven't look at the right feature.

Please look at the enclosed screenshot (in the previous comment) to see the contributionItem that I can't see in Eclipse 4 (even in version I20101202-0915 build).

Regards

Thank you for your screenshot. I see the problem now. I saw an org.eclipse.ui.popupMenus extension in your plugin.xml and assumed that was the problem. It seems like that isn't the issue here and the issue is the org.eclipse.ui.menus definition.

Hi Stephane, I can no longer reproduce the problem on I20110317-2200. Can you try this build and see how it works for you?

In case that no longer loads, try this other one. It seems Denis has setup a redirect for the time being. :o

This problem can no longer be reproduced. I believe we have fixed this as a result of changes for another bug. Please feel free to reopen this bug, Stephane, if you find evidence that indicates the contrary on one of our recent builds.

Thank you.
