Fix checked into trunk at:  8480

When validation is required for one of the specialized readers (DOMReader, XMLStreamReaderReader, XMLEventReaderReader) a ValidatorHandler is leveraged to do the schema validation.

This fix also includes some handling of null input parameters to the JAXB unmarshaller.
