e4 SDK I20101025-1602

Start with a clean workbench
Help/Cheat Sheets
Select any Cheat Sheet to open
Note that the Cheat Sheet View is Showing
Switch to a different perspective

Expected Result: Cheat Sheet View still shows since it is a sticky view

In the new perspective Help/Cheat sheets does not cause the cheat sheet view to show, only Window/Show View will open it

Yes, sticky views have not been implemented at the moment.
Comment 2 Eric Moffatt CLA 2010-10-28 15:55:30 EDT
This should be fairly straightforward I think so I've set the target for M4.
Comment 3 Remy Suen CLA 2010-10-29 09:53:52 EDT
One important thing to consider is that you could model sticky parts as a part outside the perspective model but contextually speaking they would be considered under the perspective's context, no?

The work for this is being tracked on bug 283741.
