Description David McCann CLA 2010-10-27 09:26:37 EDT
According to the spec section 8.9.8.2, XmlJavaTypeAdapter may be used with
@XmlAnyAttribute.
Comment 1 David McCann CLA 2010-10-27 09:30:31 EDT
There is no mention of this usage in the JavaDoc for XmlAnyAttribute/XmlJavaTypeAdapter, and there is only a one-line comment in the spec:

"The only other annotations that can be used on the property or field with
@XmlAnyAttribute are: @XmlJavaTypeAdapter."

The RI allows these annotations to be combined (i.e. no compile failure) but I cannot get the adapter to be utilized during runtime. I have tried to apply the adapter a number of different ways with no success.

At this point it appears as if this is not supported in the RI.
