There is a new compiler diagnostic in I20101025-1800 that found the following
problem:

The value of the field ModelChangeTable.fTotalModelChanges is not used	ModelChangeTable.java	/org.eclipse.pde.ui/src/org/eclipse/pde/internal/ui/nls	line 20	Java Problem


Looks like the field fTotalModelChanges can be removed.
