I am using eclipse helios (JavaEE edition). Today I updated eclipse with PDT 2.2 plug in. Since after update, eclipse crases randomly when I try to naviage or edit a file.

I do have auto generated bug reports of different crashes. Is there a way to upload them?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Install pdt 2.2 on Helios JavaEE edtion
2. open a php file and edit it.

Did you install xulrunner-1.9.2?
In case of Ubuntu 11.04 beta(Firefox4.0 as a default web browser), it is necessary to install xulrunner-1.9.2 at least.

I can reproduce this bug, too. I have installed mozilla-xulrunner20-2.0.1-0.2.2.x86_64 and Firefox 5.0 on OpenSuse 11.4 x86_64

Crash log attached.

Oops. I have this bug (eclipse crashes every time editing a file) but I'm using Eclipse Indigo without external plugins.

José,
If you really want to solve your problem, you should go to SWT. This is a matter of SWT and your installation. Not of PDT.

FYI, XULRunner 2.0 is not supported. Also you're using webkitgtk (it is a default of Indigo) and the supported version is "WebKitGTK+ 1.2.x". (it seems that log indicates you're using webkitgtk-1.0)
Good Luck.

oracle linux 5.8 & eclipse 4.2 & PDT also crash see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=384592 because xulrunner is 10.x

Old issue and most probably not valid anymore.

If crashes appear please open a new bug and give more details (or reopen current with more recent information). Closing
