For completeness, the actual review to restructure Mylyn occurred in April 2010. The Eclipse Board of Directors approved the promotion of Mylyn to a top-level project. We are proceeding with the understanding that the community has been provided with adequate notification of the change and adequate opportunity to respond. 

Throughout the restructuring and promotion process, the EMO and Mylyn projects will operate as transparently and open as possible.
