I tried to disable findbugs, but that the same problem occurs with the pmd download. I also checked both download links and they are correct. Moreover, buildUtils.xml runs on my machine (in a minimised version). So there must be a problem on the server. I see that SF makes redirects when I download. Might this be the problem?

I currently removed both "fingbugs" and "dry" ant targets from the "cbi-wtp-inc-xquery-integration" Hudson build configuration.

Yeah, I know what is happening and will be restructring to use the maven findbugs and pmd findbugs plugins.  Maybe this weekend.
