A common 'error' coding manifest headers is to use version where bundle-version is intended (required) and this can be 'tolerated' by a suitable implementation, such as Virgo.

The enhancement suggested here might (or might not) be accompanied by a warning.

Also:
The private header Import-Bundle uses version, which is inconsistent, and should accept bundle-version, too, but that would be the subject of anotherZilla.
