The tests are under org.eclipse.persistence.testing.tests.jpa.advanced.AdvancedJPAJunitTest.java
testAdditionalCriteriaWithParameterFromEM1()
testAdditionalCriteriaWithParameterFromEM2()
testComplexAdditionalCriteria()

The exception is: 

javax.persistence.TransactionRequiredException
at com.sun.enterprise.container.common.impl.EntityManagerWrapper.doTxRequiredCheck(EntityManagerWrapper.java:152)
at com.sun.enterprise.container.common.impl.EntityManagerWrapper.setProperty(EntityManagerWrapper.java:785)
at org.eclipse.persistence.testing.tests.jpa.advanced.AdvancedJPAJunitTest.testAdditionalCriteriaWithParameterFromEM1(AdvancedJPAJunitTest.java:376)
at org.eclipse.persistence.testing.framework.junit.JUnitTestCase.runBareServer(JUnitTestCase.java:534)

Note:
1. GlassFish bug: https://glassfish.dev.java.net/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=14054
2. The issue will be fixed in latest GlassFish build
