Bug 328056

Summary: Neither client nor webui shows the version of a project
Product: [Technology] MPC Reporter: Max Rydahl Andersen <manderse>
Component: InstallAssignee: Project Inbox <mpc.install-inbox>
Status: RESOLVED FIXED QA Contact:
Severity: major
Priority: P3
Version: unspecified
Target Milestone: ---
Hardware: PC
OS: Mac OS X - Carbon (unsup.)
Whiteboard:

Description Max Rydahl Andersen CLA 2010-10-18 13:35:52 EDT
Build Identifier: Helios

Look at http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/jboss-tools-1 and http://marketplace.eclipse.org/content/jboss-tools-0

When shown individually it says JBoss Tools 3.1.x and JBoss Tools 3.2.x - all good.

But when shown in lists on webui or client it only says "JBoss Tools" making it hard to distinguish.

For now we've included the version in the description but that is rather redundant and does not make it very visible.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Create two solutions with same name, but different versions. See that lists does not distinguish them.

Thanks for the bug! Normally a single marketplace entry should be used for a given tool. Can you state your use case for having two separate entries for JBoss Tools?

Closing as fixed. The version number is shown in the Marketplace web lists for some time now. In the MPC, it has been added for Luna.
