Seems to be a revival of BUG 234444...

ch.ethz.iks.r_osgi.remote_1.0.0.RC4_v20100913-1814) which is installed together with the current ECF version seems to still contain the problematic code:

ch.ethz.iks.r_osgi.impl.TCPChannelFactory.deactivate(TCPChannelFactory.java:96):
thread.interrupt();

Instead it presumably should be:
if (thread != null) {
    thread.interrupt();
}


Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create Project with R_OSGI-Remoting (In my case RCP-Client, OSGI-Backend with Hibernate and ECF with DS and R_OSGI remoting)
2. Exit Client after remoting is successfully working
