Description msugumaran CLA 2010-10-11 11:41:01 EDT
Hi,

Since I've upgraded to BIRT 2.6.1, I'm encountering a lot of issues with scripted data sets.
Thinks that are not working correctly :
- update of data set parameters
- update of new columns (renaming, adding new columns)

I have no problem to create a data set. But it really is a pain to edit or update it.
But I can't say why the data set is not updated correctly because sometimes it works.

I've attached a screenshot of an example.
I have update the name of a data set. In my data set explorer the name didn't change but when I re-edit the data set name, I find the new name in the popup.

Is it a known bug?
Is there a bug fix for this problem?

Thanks.

Hi there,

I can not reproduce this issue in the 2.6.1 release build.

As seen from the screenshot you attached, the script dataset was from a library.

I can rename the script dataset name, which was from a library, without any issue.
