Hi!
I would like to see code assist feature similar to Visual Assist X (plugin to Visual Studio) or similar to XCode style. Autocompletion without need to press CTRL+SPACE or . -> ::. This should be the feature of modern IDEs.

VisualAssist shows you code completion suggestions just after a few typed characters. You can press enter (or other trigger) to autocomplete.

XCode autocompletes words as you type it and you can continue to type or just press enter (space or other trigger) to autocomplete suggested word. The rest of a word being typed is selected, so you can continue typing a different word ending.

This is really useful feature for everyone.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
Write few characters

Well, I see this is a dupe of https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=101420, but 6 years are over and this feature isn't there!! :(
