It would be nice to just format the current line.  This way you could push
something like <CTRL>+TAB and have it automatically indent the current line
instead of re-formatting the entire file.

Bug 8583 is just about indentation and not code formatting. If this feature
request is just about indentation then it is bug 8583 and can be closed as
duplicate. Or do you also want to code format the line?
