Deferred due to lack of resources |
If a containing element in a JSP is collapsed (using left sidebar '-'/'+' option for a tag) in the source pane of WPE, a Drag & Drop from the palette will insert the new tag into the wrong location of the JSP source. This only occurs in the source pane. The design time pane handles the D&D correctly and inserts the new tag into the desired location of the document. Also if you do the D&D into the source pane above the collapsed section in the page, the insert is handled correctly. It appears the algorithm for computing the insert location in the document is off when inserting after the element that is collapsed. To reproduce, - Open a JSP from a Dynamic Web Project using the WPE. - Using the collapse/expand ('-'/'+') toggle option from the left sidebar of the source pane, collapse an element in the page. - Drag and drop a JSF HTML outputText tag below the collapsed section. Expected: - new instance of the outputText tag ends up in the desired location. Actual: - It ends up in the wrong location.
