I find the ctrl-shift-u hotkey to be very useful when using JDT. It seems like an obvious feature to add to CDT as a UI enhancement. Basically its like mark occurrences but the occurrences are shown in a list in a view.

I think you mean Ctrl+Alt+U?

I think so. It's M1+M2+U on Windows and Mac but CTRL+ALT+U on GTK.
