Description Gerhard Schneider CLA 2010-10-05 03:15:29 EDT
After installing the EPF composer 1.5.1 and converting/opening my existing libraries, it is not possible anymore to edit a library element by just double-clicking it. Instead, I must open it for edit via "context menu > edit".

(I'm working alternately with the Sodius DXL editor, which is also Eclipse-based. There, double-clicking works, which lets me assume that the problem is in fact combined with the EPF composer.)
Comment 1 Gerhard Schneider CLA 2010-10-05 03:30:56 EDT
This behaviour seems to be connected to the Eclipse perspectives. For whatever reason, the EPF composer shows an "<authoring>" perspective, which behaves as described.

However, there also is an "authoring" perspective (without brackets), where the double-clicking works.

So I have a solution for the problem; but: why does the EPF composer create the brackets-perspective?
Comment 2 Bingxue Xu CLA 2010-10-06 01:02:23 EDT
We don't see any perspective named as "<authoring>", and the normal one named "Authoring" works fine.

One suggestion: please delete your exisintg workspace and restart EPF Composer 1.5.1.

Please re-open this bug if you still has issue, and provide some more details and/or screen shots. Help -> About ... -> Installation details -> Configuration shold provide good details about the running environment.

Thanks.
