Description Michael Lindo CLA 2010-10-04 09:57:54 EDT
Build Identifier:

The "Index location" field should be checked to make sure the chosen location can be written to, otherwise a warning message should be displayed to the user.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Open the Indexing service configuration property page
2.In the Index location field choose a location that you know you don't have permission to (maybe /)
3. Click OK.

You will notice there was no prompt informing you that location is not valid.
