The issue does not occur with the driver with the following revision: Implementation-Version: 7.6.0 Build 032-000-005-834 This is an issue of the MaxDB JDBC driver. It is followed up in SAP's bug tracking system as internal issue "3124858 2010". This bug will be closed when the issue "3124858 2010" is solved. Closed with WONTFIX as proposed here: http://wiki.eclipse.org/EclipseLink/Development/Incubator/Extensions/DatabasePlatformPromotion: "For instance for driver issues that cannot be fixed within EclipseLink, but bug should be set to WONTFIX and an explanation should be provided.".
