Description Simon Tardell CLA 2003-02-24 09:37:11 EST
The "Show Source of Selected Element Only" toggle button is disabled when the
editor loses focus. However, toggling the state of this feature is relevant if
any of the browsing views have focus.
Comment 1 Kai-Uwe Maetzel CLA 2003-02-26 14:16:39 EST
For that the other views have to set a global action handler for the action
IJavaEditorActionConstants.TOGGLE_PRESENTATION. Moving to JDT UI.
Comment 2 Erich Gamma CLA 2003-02-27 06:01:52 EST
Currently the retargeting of editor actions in only done in the outline.l

Kai are there other editor actions that need to be retargeted in the other Java
views? For example, there is also goto/next previous error.

We should look into this for RC2
Comment 3 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2003-03-04 15:07:51 EST
This can't be addressed for 2.1 since the TogglePresentationAction provided by
the editor needs an editor instance. In the Java view parts we don't have
access to the editor.

Must be postponed since this requires work in the editor area.

We won't change the current behavior, especially since the toolbar button is no longer visible per default.
