Description
Bouchet Stéphane
This is something to discuss with the EEF/EMFT website maintainer. -M. Archived builds are not shown automatically.
You need to create a file in
@dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/org.eclipse/www/modeling/emft/downloads/
called extras-eef.php
Then in there, include an array of builds to display, as EMF does for its archived builds (see /www/modeling/emf/downloads/extras-emf.php):
<?php
$oldrels = array(
"2.4.1" => "200808251517",
"2.4.0" => "200806091234",
"2.3.2" => "200802051830",
"2.3.1" => "200709252135",
"2.3.0" => "200706262000",
"2.2.5" => "200808252119",
"2.2.4" => "200710030400",
"2.2.3" => "200705141058",
"2.2.2" => "200702131851",
"2.2.1" => "200609210005",
"2.2.0" => "200606271057",
"2.1.3" => "200710031529",
"2.1.2" => "200601191349",
"2.1.1" => "200509281310",
"2.1.0" => "200507070200",
"2.0.6" => "200710030600",
"2.0.5" => "200511291418",
"2.0.4" => "200509300951",
"2.0.3" => "200506091052",
"2.0.2" => "200503151315",
"2.0.1" => "200409171617",
"2.0.0" => "200406280827",
"1.x" => array("2003","http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emf/downloads/dl-emf1x.html")
);
?>
If that doesn't work, feel free to assign this back to me for assistance. If it does, please close when complete. Thx!
Hi, thanks for the tip, but i don't have commit rights :( Created attachment 189700 [details]
Provided patch to get archives displyed on EMFT/EEF page
Hi,
ould you appluy the provided patch to make the archives visible on EMFT/EEF pages ?
Also, and that would be great, can you provide me the write access to this directory for future modifications ?
thanks
Hi, this is again a request ot have the ability to commit some modifications on EMFT/EEF web pages in order to move old releases to archive and hide some builds. I see two options: 1) Ed(or Nick) starts the process to get you elected onto modeling.emf. 2) We add an ACL to grant access to all/part of the EMF website. -M. Does the component lead ( glefur ) has the necessary rights to do the modifications himself ? (In reply to comment #6) > I see two options: > > 1) Ed(or Nick) starts the process to get you elected onto modeling.emf. > 2) We add an ACL to grant access to all/part of the EMF website. > > -M. Sorry for the delay on this. Patch applied. See: http://www.eclipse.org/modeling/emft/downloads/?project=eef#archives --- I'd argue that when you become a committer for EMFT, you should get cvs commit rights to dev.eclipse.org:/cvsroot/org.eclipse/www/modeling/emft/ at the same time. That way you can control not just your project's source code, but its website files. Ed, +1? Yes, we've been around this issue of commit access to the website repeatedly, but it's always circled back to having an election to get such access. Election submitted for Stephane Bouchet via portal. Should appear in http://dev.eclipse.org/mhonarc/lists/modeling-pmc/ next time that's updated. |
