I was trying to create Palette compartments using Graphiti. I have created a BehaviourProvider which extends the DefaultBehaviourProvider. Using the DefaultBehaviourProvider i have created two different palette Compartments for Objects and Connections. Now, I want to create a separator inside the Object compartment to separate the independently existing objects and objects which are dependant on independant objects for their existence. You may say, EPackage, EClass, EDataType, EEnum, EAnnotation in one part and EAttribute, EOperation, DetailsEntry, EEnumLiteral in another part.

Is there any way to do this???
I could not find how to create a separator inside a palette compartment.

Reproducible: Always

This is indeed missing functionality. The GEF palette separator needs to be wrapped and supported by the framework

I've fixed it today.

From now on you can add a palette separator with

<your PaletteCompartmentEntry>.addToolEntry(new PaletteSeparatorEntry());
