As per bug 325963, some users would like a mechanism where they can provide a list of mirrors to p2. This may already be available, I'm not sure but perhaps Pascal or John can comment.

It looks like we get the mirror list if you set the repository property: p2.mirrorsURL. But I don't think we have a way to over-ride that or provide another set of mirrors via the command-line, etc.

There is currently no way to override the mirror list provided by the server.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.
