Description John Arthorne CLA 2010-09-22 13:19:49 EDT
In the 3.6 release, SWT provided new API to support the IAccessible2 standard. This API should be adopted throughout the Eclipse platform user interface to ensure the platform is fully accessible to all users. In addition, SWT will extend its accessibility support to include IAccessibleEditableText, and expand its accessibility testing efforts. [SWT, Platform UI]

Oleg, can you think of an area we should be targetting for this?

This is an "umbrella" bug for all open issues marked with "accessibility" keyword. We resolved a number of them; a few will remain open for future.

This plan item has been marked committed for 3.7. Accessible text support was introduced, and quite a few accessibility fixes have been made in the platform UI this release.
