I run the e4 tests on build.eclipse.org headlessly using Xvfb and metacity, but they're not available yet.

Xvfb :8 -screen 0 1280x1024x24 -auth auth.cfg &
DISPLAY=:8.0 metacity --display=:8.0 --replace --sm-disable >/dev/null 2>&1 &

I've installed metacity and gtk.  I can't seem to finx Xvfb in the repository.  I'll look around.

I found Xvfb (thanx), but I can't find metacity.

e4Build@build:~> rpm -q metacity
package metacity is not installed

I must have hit Cancel when I was searching for (and couldn't find) Xvfb.  It's installed now.
