Description Paul Webster CLA 2010-09-20 13:54:19 EDT
I had moved the outline view under the package explorer stack, standard in my workspace. Restarted a couple of times. Build I20100916-1954

After 2 or 3 times when I switched back to the Java perspective

1) my java perspective was blank. A resize of the WorkbenchWindow usually makes that re-appear

2) now my outline stack on the left hand side is missing. The left hand trim still has the space available for a minimized stack, but it is empty.

If you use quick access to open the outline view, it opens like a fast view, and then you can click on the restore button to put it back in the perspective.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
