I also dislike "Copy of" prefix but I think that CDT as a product should keep it just for consistency with other views, see Project Explorer for example. Does anybody else have an opinion on that? |
By nature of my work I have to create many targets during a day I usually use copy of existing target and insert in the same location. For example: Original: ${boxname} compile Created from original: ${boxname} compile V=3 ${boxname} compile COMPILER=gcc I have noticed that I am wasting time to remove 'Copy of'. I never saw a reason to keep Copy of prefix. I propose do not insert 'Copy of' in the beginning of Target name. I think that copy of the target will be faster and convenient
