In some applications, the Raw tab for xdc.runtime.GateNull displays the error:

XDC.runtime.error <unknown>: no property named '$sizeof'

Chris Ring saw the same issue with the GateHwi and GateSwi views.

I need to look into it, but I'm guessing there's something unique about the Gate  modules that's causing this. Perhaps they have instances but don't actually have instance state, and so $sizeof is being called on a structure that doesn't exist.
