I've tried to reproduce this with linux and AIX connections from both the RSE 3.0.3 and the RSE 3.2.1 environments but I'm not seeing this problem. |
ls command in a shell causes open RSE directories/folders in the Remote Systems view to close. Recreate Steps [mandatory] ----------------------------- 1 - Create a connection to a System z 2 - Login to the system with the connection 3 - Open the MVS Files, connectionname->z/OS UNIX Files->My Home 4 - Click on folder/directory to open it to see the files in the directory. 5 - RMB on z\OS UNIX Shells and select Launch Shell. 6 - In the shell cd to the directory that matches the directory opened in the previous steps 3 and 4. 7 - Type ls in the shell. The directory/folder opened in steps 3 and will close in the Remote Systems view. A refresh will reopen the folder. Expected Results [mandatory] ------------------------------- The directory/folder should not close when an ls command is run in the shell. This is happening on AIX, Intel Linux and zLinux servers as well as System z USS. Build Information [mandatory] -------------------------------- - 9/15/2010 Build Client/Host Information [mandatory] -------------------------------------- - Client machine : Windows 7/XP Intel SUSE 10, Intel RHEL 5 running RDz v8 9/15/2010 builds. - Host - AIX, SUSE Linux, zLinux SUSE 10/11 and RHEL5.3 running RDz v8 9/1/2010 builds with System z on the 9/14/2010 build.
