The two hibernate example projects are currently in the deprecated section of cvs:
org.eclipse.emf.cdo.examples.hibernate.client
org.eclipse.emf.cdo.examples.hibernate.server 

This bugzilla is to request them to be moved to another 'less-deprecated' location.

Are these two plugins supposed to end up in the examples feature (which is part of the release train) or shall they only be materialized in developer workspaces?

I included the two plugins into the examples feature and fixed some warnings in them.
