You don't seem to have installed:
PTP RDT Remote Tools Support 4.0.3.201009141727
I'd say that's your problem.
I tried the latest eclipse-cpp package. Installed the following: Parallel Tools Platform (PTP) End-User Runtime 4.0.3.201009141727 org.eclipse.ptp.feature.group PTP RDT Remote Tools Support 4.0.3.201009141727 org.eclipse.ptp.rdt.remotetools.feature.group PTP Remote Development Tools (RDT) 4.0.3.201009141727 org.eclipse.ptp.rdt.feature.group Created a remote project on abe and the RDT server started fine. Well Why isn't it in PTP end-user runtime? or otherwise pulled in as a pre-req when you install RDT? And why doesn't it complain somehow? Please add "PTP RDT Remote Tools Support" as a default feature when you install RDT. Otherwise it's just too obscure for users to know to install this feature, and things silently don't work without an indication of what's missing. This plugin has been added to RDT. |
