This seems to work. I'm not sure how it was done last year. Can you add a blurb somewhere on our wiki docs about this? I've added some comments in the code. > Also, there's something funky about Oisin's entry. His bio is shown in the > wrong font. Indeed, there is HTML in the bio that Oisin can remove himself.
(In reply to comment #2) > > Indeed, there is HTML in the bio that Oisin can remove himself. Still a couple of things wrong here. 1. After some investigation, here's what appears to be happening. If someone doesn't have a bio for ESE 2010, the ESE 2009 one is being used. If the ESE 2009 bio has HTML in it, it messes things up. The ESE 2010 bios that have HTML are fine. I did a "dumb fix" by removing the HTML markup from the ESE 2009 bios that were causing problems (Doug Clarke and Oisin Hurley). So if you can fix the code so that it only pulls bios from ESE 2010, I think that should do it. 2. Markus Knauer's bio in the Presentations page isn't in the correct font. He has lots of HTML in his bio, and it looks OK, but somehow the font got changed for his bio. Go figure. 3. Two minor sorting issues. a. The first person in the Presenter list is Janos koppany. The lower-case "k" in his last name causes him to be the first one in the list. b. Another presenter, Mica J. Block, appears with the Js rather than the Bs. Gabe fixed this so that the bios are now being pulled from the correct conference. I don't know what the fix was. |
