When I inspect the history of the egit repository with the show all branches option I get reproduceable NPEs.

To reproduce (at least on Windows):
- clone http://egit.eclipse.org/egit.git
- select the project org.eclipse.egit
- right-click and select "Show in->History" 
- make sure "Show all changes in Repository..."
- toggle the "Show all branches" button on/off/on

I use egit/jgit from current stable-0.9 branch.
