Description Alexander Lehmann CLA 2010-09-11 05:05:15 EDT
Build Identifier: 20100617-1415

When opening the "Install New Software" dialog, then proceeding to the "Available Software Sites" dialog via the provided link and finally importing XML bookmarks, these newly added sites are not available to the "Install New Software" dialog until the latter is closed and reopened again.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open "Install New Software" dialog.
2. Click on the "Available Software Sites" link.
3. Import new sites.
4. Return to the first dialog.
5. Try selecting any of the new sites in the "Work with:" field. Doesn't work.
6. Close and reopen "Install New Software". The sites list gets reloaded and hence is available now.

Not only newly added entry, the newly enabled entry can't be chosen in install wizard immediately.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
