Usage Data collector is contributed by EPP. Moving the bug Is there a message in the log that indicates an upload has actually occurred? It should look something like this: !ENTRY org.eclipse.epp.usagedata.recording 1 0 2010-09-07 09:55:27.016 !MESSAGE Usage data uploaded to http://udc.eclipse.org/upload.php in 4281 milliseconds. Does the preview list get added to after you've turned off the UDC? I suspect that this might just be a "confusing UI" problem. What you're seeing in the preview is likely just the data that was collected up to the point when the UDC asked if it is okay to upload. When you said no, it should have stopped collecting. But it doesn't throw away what it collected up to this point. Aa far as I can see the upload does not take place. So it is just a UI problem. I think the whole UDC is dead. Closing as fixed. |
Created attachment 178596 [details] Screenshot1 Hi, If I turn the feature of and do not accept the licence it still tells me that it will upload data. Screenshots attached. Best regards, Lars
