doesn't show data while the two dataset comprising do

I created a scripted data set and a jdbc data set and joined the two together. The preview data works great as would be expected (so the joint data set is constructed correctly), but when I try to use the new joint data set by including it into the report layout by dragging and dropping it won't let me. Also, when I try to use the joint data set in a chart it lets me select it, but I can't drag the columns to select the data. It recognizes it as a legitimate data set but the data set is unusable in both situations.

I also tried it fresh in a new report and it did the same thing. Strange because it doesn't even have the option on the right mouse to insert into the layout, but when you preview the joint data set it previews the data I want, so it is working but not in the layout or charts.

Additionally, both datasets work in the report layout independent of the joint data set. But the joint data set does not even show the arrow for data for its columns.

I am using BIRT inside Helios on Linux.

I tried a joint dataset based on jdbc dataset(mysql) and script dataset in 2.6.0 (Helios) release and it works fine.

In the description, you said you were using Helios but the BIRT version was BIRT: Version: 2.5.2.v20090925-7l9V7YFT0z0-DX3kf8ShK8
Build id: v20100210-0630.

BIRT version that contributed to Helios release should be 2.6.0.

Could you please try the 2.6.0 release build to see if this issue can be reproduced?

Yes, I was wrong on the eclipse version. I was using Gallileo. I just downloaded the latest from eclipse site:

Version: Helios Release
Build id: 20100617-1415

With BIRT:

Version: 2.6.0.v20100617-7m9f77FT0z0-H04OvPZz0D4
Build id: v20100609-1613

The old report still wouldn't work, but when I started from scratch it did work. Must be some glitch with the old version. I am up and running now.

Can not reproduced in 2.6.0 release. Set as fixed.
