Cédric, Any idea what is going on here? Miles Hi Miles, When it says it's "unavailable" it means the given feature ID's can't be found in the given update-site. Let's have a closer look... Hmmm..the release update site shouldn't have changed at all since early July and I am able to get the update from the update site directly. It's not only one update site but severals :
<sitesURLS>http://download.eclipse.org/releases/helios/</sitesURLS>
<sitesURLS>http://lwjgl.org/update</sitesURLS>
<sitesURLS>http://ascape.sourceforge.net/eclipse</sitesURLS>
<sitesURLS>http://download.eclipse.org/amp/updates/releases</sitesURLS>
<sitesURLS>http://mirror.anl.gov/pub/repastsimphony/</sitesURLS>
The update-site availability is checked by trying to access one of those files :
"compositeContent.jar","content.jar", "content.xml", "site.xml"
I just had a try and can't reproduce your problem, do you still have this issue ?
after double checking, http://lwjgl.org/update/ looks dead. Any alternative to this update-site ? Hi Cédric, It's hard to believe, which is probably why I didn't discover it until last night, but it looks like the LWJGL crew simply deleted the update site form their website. Not only did this break the download here, but this also explains why all of my builds don't work. :( At least I know what went wrong now. It's kind of embarrassing to miss something so obvious but unexpected. thanks, Miles No problem, please note that you're not doomed ;) If you can setup an alternative update-site for lwjgl we can change the discovery description file to refers to it. OK, the good folks at LWJGL have put the build back up. Everything seems to be working as before. whew.. OH, see http://lwjgl.org/forum/index.php/topic,2785.30.html for way more on this than anyone probably is interested in. |
