For occasional contributors it would be very helpful when commits for which a nightly build @ http://download.itemis.com/updates/nightly/ exists would be tagged in the git repo with the version/qualifier by the build system. Rationale: When importing isolated xtext plug-ins as source projects from a local xtext checkout while getting everything else from the target platform, the versions should match exactly. Having a tag would make switching to the correct version in the git repo easy.

We won't tag nightly builds (build runs often ten times a day), but probably releases/milestones
