The patch contains a comments explaining what the problem is. Basically (we believe) this is caused by a bug in the compiler.

Fixed in the 4.3 stream > 20120917, patch: http://git.eclipse.org/c/platform/eclipse.platform.swt.git/commit/?id=26a93997742e3fbea259c9c103559f5ff6796c72 . Setting target milestone to 4.2.2, for inclusion in the maintenance stream once 4.2.1 is officially wrapped up. Patch released to R4_2_maintenance and R3_8_maintenance. |
