I tried installing Mylyn on I20100923-1125 from the Helios update site and the task editor won't even come up. I don't know how you all are getting it up. :O

I am on Windows XP. Technically speaking, the editor comes up, it's just blank and the tab doesn't even have any text in it (due to its early demise in the creation cycle).

Well, I know why it doesn't come up for me (because of the compiler errors mentioned in comment 4), I don't know what _you_ guys are doing though. :O

Other people also seem to have problems bringing up the editor. See bug 321215 and bug 321278.

@Remy: Are you still having problem open the editor? Works fine for me in the current M3 on Windows7.

I'm pretty sure the view opens now but don't recall any problems with the 'Description' text field. I'll check again though.

I'm using Mylyn right now in e4 M3. Everything works fine for me. I think this bug can be closed if you don't find anything.

I seem to see the 'Properties' menu item on I20101209-0255.

Which version of Mylyn are you using? This looks like a duplicate of bug 321215 which is fixed in weekly builds.

For e4 you'll need to use the latest Indigo or Mylyn weekly build: http://eclipse.org/mylyn/downloads/.

@Steffen, sorry I mixed two bugs up. For course for e4 I'm using Indigo. Once e4 m4 is out, I give it another try.
