Crash on startup with messages like these.

Has support for OS X PPC been officially dropped. If so, I will stick with Eclipse 3.5 for now.

Can you attach the complete log?  The message in comment 0 indicates that there is an entry on the osgi.bundles list specified in the config.ini which does not exist in the installation.  Is this a vanilla install of the EPP for java development?

Not reproducible, and Carbon is no longer supported. Try Eclipse Cocoa builds.
