Description

In the Team->CVS preferences there is a "Prune Empty Directories" option (turn it off). there is also an option in the project's CVS properties page to turn -d on or off (it should be on by default). Yes I found the option in the project properties dialog. The "Prune" option is different, and I wonder why both are not in the same location? Just to clarify: -d is not prune, -P is prune -d means add repository directories that don't exist in the local working copy The option to prune is under Window | Preferences | CVS The option to add missing repository directories is under the Project properties Current setup is not intuitive as I also couldn't find where to set -d until I found this bug report. There should be both a global default and a project override. For most of our projects, I like (or am use to) "Prune Empty Directories" checked, but we have one project that needs it to be unchecked before synchronizing against the server. A project level override for the "Prune Empty Directories" option would be most welcome. post 2.1 *** Bug 43112 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** There is currently no plan to address this item. As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported. Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you. |
