Description Pascal Rapicault CLA 2010-08-29 20:55:42 EDT
A lot of end user sites only contain one category and probably a handful of elements underneath it.
In those cases (and maybe a few others) it would be nice if the category was being shown expanded.

the thing we would want to keep in mind is that for some repo implementations, finding out how many items are there takes just as long as getting them. So we would want to have an async query for the count and then perhaps expand based on the count itself and the amount of time that has passed (wouldn't want to expand if the delay to find out if we should expand is too long).

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
