So this is not a problem in 3.6?

No. It is an eclipse 3.5 bug.
Comment 3 Pascal Rapicault CLA 2010-08-29 21:01:11 EDT
This is a wellknown issue in 3.5 that has been fixed in 3.6.
It can't be backported to 3.5. Closing as wontfix.
