Description gossi CLA 2010-08-25 08:06:32 EDT
Build Identifier: 20100618-0524 (Helios Release)

If I have open Eclipse and other programms on my mac, I often use Expose to switch between the open windows. I activate with my mouse on the lower left corner.
So, when I go there, I see the eclipse window as well. I click on it, the menubar of Mac shows me eclipse, but it's not the eclipse window, that is on top of all, its the one that was present before (most of the times firefox). So I expose once more, click Eclipse again and here I am.

Reproducible: Always

Yes, I've seen this as well. We have some other bugs on this, but this is the easiest test case, so I'll keep it.

This is a very annoying bug, this totally kills my workflow.

I would be very pleased if someone could take a look at this, this is a deal breaker for me :(.

This bug seems to have been fixed in 3.7M4 on 10.6.5. I'm no longer able to reproduce it, but I also have a fix for 330749 installed. I'm marking this as fixed -- if you get new steps to reproduce it add it to this bug.

This bug is reproducible all the time for me and can be reproduced on multiple computers all at 10.6.6 with eclipse helios (Eclipse IDE for C/C++ Developers	1.3.1.20100916-1202). I have linked a video of this.

In the video you see that it comes to focus on the first try but this happens when the window that comes in fron has not been "changed" The reason it works the second time is because i have not changed the state of the "in-front" window.

Please try 3.7 M5. comment#4 indicates it should be fixed in that build.

No, it's still happening in the nightly builds. See bug 306941. I'll make it a duplicate, though.

This is also happening to me, Mac OS X latest Leopard. It is really unconfortable, some workaround there? I am thinking about going back to Visual Studio just for this reason ....
