*** Bug 323459 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** How do you create the file? Note that the setting only affects the way Eclipse tries to read and write the files. It does not change the encoding of already existing files on disk. Having said that, I cannot reproduce your issue using 3.7 M1 - maybe due to lack of exact steps. If you still see the problem using 3.7 M1 (http://download.eclipse.org/eclipse/downloads/drops/S-3.7M1-201008051700/index.php), then please reopen this bug and provide a step-by-step test case and/or attach a sample workspace that shows the problem. |
