Description Michael Wenz CLA 2010-08-23 04:58:23 EDT
According to the UX spec direct editing should be visualized slighly different that it is today:
- Field Width should be limited: The input field must never cover the icon column or enter the right-padding of the shape. Depends on the shape’s size, follows the maximum width of the text area.
- Overflow: Text which exceeds the field’s width is concatenated at the left hand side. The input cursor always remains visible.
Comment 1 Michael Wenz CLA 2011-03-21 09:07:22 EDT
The overflow aspect is fulfilled: when the text box overflows the text vanishes to the right out of the box, the cursor stays visible.
Comment 2 Michael Wenz CLA 2011-03-22 10:06:47 EDT
Standard size of direct editing field should be the size of the user defined text field. Introduce callback (compatible) to influence size.
Comment 3 Christian Brand CLA 2011-05-06 05:22:13 EDT
FIXED - Field width is limited now. Direct editing should fulfill the UX spec.
